Things to do when you charter this boat:
Stingray City: The 'sandbar' at Stingray City is one of, if not the, most visited tourist attractions in the Cayman Islands. Over 50% of stayover guests and over 30% of cruise visitors come to this lovely 3-4-foot-deep sandbar in the North Sound off the coast of Grand Cayman. This naturally occurring sandbar has never been home to the southern stingray we have all come to know and love. Rather, they have started to come here purposely to see us after years and years of us feeding them. In reality, they come to see us at the sandbar as much as we come to see them, so you don't need to be worried about us 'invading' their home. On your trip, be sure to ask our team about the more detailed history of this true one-of-a-kind place! Stingray City is perfect for people of all ages and is sure to be an experience you won't soon forget. You can touch, hold, feed, kiss, and dance with these majestic creatures!
Starfish Point: Starfish Point is a privately owned beach that is open to the public on the North side of Grand Cayman. It has a perfect view of the Seven Mile Beach (SMB) stretch of Grand Cayman and because of the prevailing wind direction, this 'point' beach is always quite calm. We will back the boat into a few feet of water and then we'll go searching for a couple of Starfish (Red Cushion Sea Stars) who reside here in large numbers. The only rule of Starfish Point is to not take the Starfish out of the water.
Snorkeling: With its rich history as a scuba diving location, it comes as no surprise that there are some of the best snorkeling sites in the entire Caribbean right here in Grand Cayman. In fact, the most common comments we get from our guests after they get out at our favorite snorkel site are: "I feel like I was snorkeling in an aquarium" and "that is the best snorkeling I've ever done. From the Cayman barrier reef to several other sites including Rum Point Reef and Coral Gardens, we have plenty of options for snorkeling. The water we snorkel in is never deeper than 14 feet and we're always inside the barrier reef which acts to naturally break up the wind and the waves leading to a more enjoyable snorkel session.
Bio Bay: Bio Bay is a bay of water on the North end of Grand Cayman situated between Rum Point and Starfish Point. Before Hurricane Ivan in 2004 the water was too deep for the bioluminescence plankton known as the 'Pyrodinium bahamense' to thrive. That all changed with Hurricane Ivan and now the conditions are perfect for this microscopic plankton to thrive. As a result, some estimates suggest there are between 800K - 1 MM of this plankton in a single gallon of water in Bio Bay. Either way, this is one of only a few locations in the Caribbean to see these glowing phenomena and from many reports one of the brightest. This is a can’t-miss on your vacation to Grand Cayman.

We had an awesome day on the water. First we went fishing and then snorkeling with the stingrays.
